Today is the Grammys! @arcticmonkeyswere nominated for two - Best Rock Performance and Best Alternative Album - and they lost both. I can wax poetic for eons about "Tranquility Base Hotel And Casino," but that's boring to everyone except four (out of five) people [did you see what I did there?] - so I won't. Let us shed a single tear over the fact that Father John Misty's "God's Favorite Customer" wasn't even nominated. Thank God these awards don't really matter, let's all have a swig and do a hot lap.

paradiseph0t0: Alex Turner commanding the stage with the Arctic Monkeys last night for an energy fuelled, roller-coaster of a ride that totally blew the lid off the Royal Albert Hall last night for their charity gig in aid of War Child. I don't think I've ever shot a gig that has been so charged before as that and it took a while to process it all! Amazing night and hearing the songs off the new album played live they all made complete sense and worked perfectly so having previously disregarded the album I'm now completely converted! If they are coming to you area I highly recommend taking the time out of your busy schedule to get your ass on the dance floor! The new album and video are adding to their cred and filling a rock n roll void.
