I have decided that Mr. Tenna and my TV Nic Sympha would have a Woody and Buzz dynamic. Nic in his prime would be intimidating for Tenna to encounter, especially if he was another TV in the room. He has a DVD player that also reads music CDs, stereo sound, a headphone jack, he uses satellite/cable, doesn't need antennas. Nic does NOT know what that CRT's problem is! If Tenna meets Nic after the accident, Nic is recovering, and under the impression he is in the last video game that was being played on his screen. This helps Nic connect with other Darkners, because he's VERY good at one on one time, and can make anyone feel important. Tenna would totally be jealous of this, and then try to prove something by jogging Nic's memory when he finds his user manual. Of course this backfires, as when Nic realizes he is indeed a TV, grief hits him all at once.
He's not in the video game he thought he was in, and he can't remember anything about his old life. He gets stuck in mourning what could have been. He genuinely thought his DVD player was a snack tray.
Both kinda have to come together to work things out, sheesh, two TVs are better than one!! One for gaming, one to watch something!! Still thinking of ways they could interact, cause I think it would be funny and sweet!
I thought I had used up all my sketchbooks and was just waiting to get more, and I found an empty one on my shelf that I forgot about, so I'm drawing stuff!!!! I have sketched an idea for Nic Sympha's look when we first got him, I'm really happy with this.
Looks a little like a vampire because of playing Castlevania, carries a SingStar microphone from the PS2. He's very into the music of whatever the activity is, DVDs, videogames, TV shows.
He's a modest 7 feet tall, his tail is prehensile. I will render him in 3D eventually! I just have more pressing things, hehe.
He was just as sweet then as he is now.
