okay so i'm rewatching never have i ever and how can ANYONE with a sane mind think paxton was better for devi than ben?? like paxton was all nonchalant and shit and invited fucking trent and marcus to their date, meanwhile ben kissed devi first and broke up with shira and told her that they could do long distance and he was ALL IN for DEVI. and ben wasn't even that bad looking, fab and el were crazy for saying paxton when ben was the obvious better choice. also, academic rivals is such a good trope whattt. all paxton had were looks, no efforts and bad grades. ben was such a good guy im so glad they were endgame.

never have i ever is so important to me and i didn’t remember until i rewatched it, and now i remember why i loved this show so much. like devi, and ben, and paxton, and fab and el and kamala and nalini and nirmala are all my babies i mean maybe thats weird to say but i love them so much oh my god. to see freshman devi, then sophomore devi, then junior devi, and finally senior devi, who has found her way. the scene where she hugs paxton and their closure is so sad and sweet at the same time. i love that we get to see ben with his doe eyes do the whole grand romantic gesture for devi is amazing. i love to see nalini and andres, and nirmala and len. also, i missed eleanor and trent together so their getting together was my highlight. nhih is the best.
