This encounter was a nice surprise!
I was rock-pooling on Ngunguru Beach just before the sun went down, looking for Aplysia sp. sea hares, when I noticed this little critter.
Looking closer I saw a gill plume towards the back and 2 head tentacles, and realised I’d found some tiny nudis ^_^
I love surprise beach finds!
Spotted this little critter scurrying around my feet whilst I was looking at sea slugs on Ngunguru Beach, Northland.
Got mad love for sea slugs, all day, every day <3

Ngunguru, a very small village along the road not far from Whangarei, where we stayed only because our hotel was located there. But despite the smallness, there is a serious sports center with a football field, a backwater with yachts and so on. It's just that each such trifle focuses not only on itself, but also serves the surroundings. And yes, a banal discovery, in front of the morning-dawn photos, everything else is just documentary garbage. If God gives something to those who get up early, then God gives everything to early-rising photographers, the rest are left with leftovers. Ngunguru, совсем маленькая деревня вдоль дороги недалеко от Whangarei, в которой мы остановились, только потому, что там был наш отель. Но не смотря на малость, там есть серьезный спортивный центр с футбольным полем, заводь с яхтами и прочее. Просто каждая такая мелочь ориентируется не только на себя, но и обслуживает окрестности. И да, банальное открытие, перед утренне-рассветными фотками всё остальное - просто документальный мусор. Если бог и дает что-то тем, кто рано встаёт, то рано встающим фотографам бог отдаёт вообще всё, остальным остаются объедки.
