What happened to us?
When we were children, we were told we must stand up for what we believe in, no matter what people say. We were encouraged to be like Rosa Parks, like Martin Luther King, and like so many other people that didn't give up when the tides turned against their favor. Now, when we see someone being bullied or tease, we join in, so that we can be cool. We laugh along, or ignore it, we pretend like nothing is there. It is our job, our responsibility, and our purpose in life to defend other people, animals, and the entire world that we live in. It is time for us to not only see what is wrong in the world, but to act upon it. It is my hope and belief that one day, we will overcome our silly attitudes that separate us. May the odds forever be in your favor.
