Goodbye, Whatever Wednesday
Whatever Wednesday is dead.
Wait, before you freak out, keep reading.Â
Reasons why
1. wednesdays are hard (Wednesday nights used to be my only free night, now I just have 9 consecutive hours of stuff without time for emails in between)
2. attendance has dropped off to the point that a population sampling of my apartment on Wednesday night is indistinguishable from any other time of the week
3. I'd rather have an infrequent, high quality newsletter than have a wanton rag that comes at the same time every week
4. the second anniversary just passed and I didn't even attempt to do anything to celebrate it
5. c'mon, you're as bored as I am
I was waiting for the right moment to break the news because I knew it wouldn't go over well and because I knew it wouldn't be easy for me, and it wasn't--to call time of death. Nor was it fun to condemn something I've been working on religiously for two years. But writing is my religion and it doesn't care if I worship false gods as long as I write about convincingly, so I'm starting over.

+set up web page to blog at
+write an email that's so dope that everybody wants to keep reading.Â
