William knew he liked Kyle. He's always had strong feelings for him, but he wasn't sure if he could call it 'love'.

It wasn't the fiery passion Antonio often talked about during the breaks in their meetings, or the shy, nervous attraction Yoongsoo would gush over with Elena.

It was soft.

It was kind.

It was everything good in the world packed into a single smile.

His heart never sped up around Kyle, but kowhai seemed to bloom whenever he was around. He was warm like spring (and sometimes just as annoying), and he loved him for it. Everything was brighter with him, he made his days better - even the ones where he wanted to do nothing but strangle the loud Aussie for being so dense.

Maybe it was love, maybe it wasn't. Whatever it was, William knew one thing for sure.
