HEY GUYS! THURSDAY WAS A HUGE SUCCESS!!!
The turnout for EQuala was outstanding. Everyone who came to our booth loved our idea and many downloaded the app on the spot! Thursday marked New York Tech Day’s second annual event where over 400 startups companies gathered at Pier 92 and welcomed nearly 10,000 aspiring entrepreneurs, tech enthusiasts, established venture capital funds and angel investors. New York Tech Day offers these hopeful startups the opportunity to showcase their new and innovative ideas to the general pubic. As the largest start-up event, this exposition provided attention and networking opportunities to each of the startup companies, which they may not have received otherwise. For us, it could not have been a better experience. This is how the schedule of the day went:
Beginning at 9 a.m., potential investors and a variety of media poured into the room. The atmosphere electrified with an aura of excitement. As investors perused the aisles, they had the opportunity to speak with the founders and teams about their businesses. We spoke to several investors and received great feedback on our app.
At 10 a.m. the general public was ushered into the expo. With thousands of individuals streaming in and out until the exhibition closed at 5:30pm most people were left wanting more time. The environment was exhilarating and extremely powerful for many people.
The ingenuity displayed at Pier 92 was truly amazing. EQuala stood out as a premier tech company and attracted hundreds of people to our booth. People immediately downloaded the app and began telling their friends about it. This event was a major success for us here at EQuala and we could not have asked for a better result.
