     “ haeil... ” he murmured tiredly. he liked to think his decision to cut things off with the other was for the good of the both of them instead of out of selfishness. they were doomed from the start, people would say. haeil and taksoo had such wide eyes for each other and such burning ache for the world. choosing one one would mean losing the other and unfortunately, they couldn't have everything they wanted. “ it was inevitable and you know it. i just decided to rip the band-aid off instead of dragging it out. ”

“i’m sick and tired of constantly giving this my all and never getting anywhere… it’s beyond draining.”

“i feel like you’ve been avoiding me since the last time we saw each other. did i do something wrong?”

"you're right. glad you can keep up with me," he teases, grinning. "but the question is whether or not you're ready to make things a little harder." oh, harper. always ready to try something new (and nearly kill everyone without his insane level of stamina in the process).
