I've held this book close to me for the past 3 years as a mother would her child.

I've fussed over detail, innumerable bouts of editing, omitting, reformatting, and at times--questioning why I'm doing this.

I finally had to dissect the root of why these issues were manifesting in my creative process. It all came back to fear of self-expression, fear of taking the lead, and how I would be perceived.

Then I realized what a disservice I would be doing to my authentic essence and all that had taken place for me to write this book by choosing not to share my truth and my voice.

This book is the fruit of my womb. It's a treasure I want to offer to those who are also on a journey of birthing a new self. It's my legacy because when I return to dust, I want the sweet, healing power of my words to remain.

So, I'm releasing my baby into the Cosmos.

It is my deepest prayer that you find solace, nourishment, and the conviction to follow your own soul promptings within it's pages.
