@trixclibrarian likes the word “sequenced” i live to serve... anyway a chord progression is a real THING with rules and stuff-not gonna get into all that here. try john duarte he was real good at that stuff. “yes i know” is a “sequence” not a progression ok?    SO. D major 7/ B-flat major 7 then b-flat minor7/g minor7. then F-sharp major 7 / g-7/b-flat-7/ B-flat major7 and back to D major 7.... no that*s not in any textbook that i know of anyway.... and i just float someone*s melody over that stuff cuz i can(and i think he would get a laff out of it if he knew) welcome @sepia2technicolorrevelation and @javiplaya and @mniac. hello @katzmammal

Had the pleasure of briefly meeting Don Newcombe (June 14, 1926 - February 19, 2019) at a Brooklyn Cyclones game a few number of years ago.
