Hello! We just wanted to take a moment to say we’re aware of the noticeable lack of movement on the dash, as well as lack of interest. Due to this, as a team we’ve decided to shut down Newhaven. It’s been a long five months, and as of right now we have no plans to return in future because we are simply burnt out. Furthermore, we don’t really feel like putting our energy into a roleplay that has a severe lack of interest.

Feel free to wrap up any threads you have.

We would love to keep in touch! Feel free to message us in the discord server. It will remain for a week starting from today to ensure everyone has gotten the news.

Our main has a cute little theme update! Also... I have a few friendly reminders! 

Please make sure that you cut your posts. There’s a helpful tutorial here if you are unsure about how to do this. The beta version of Tumblr needs to be turned off for this to work. 

We understand that not every face has ample resources, but please use .gifs if you are not writing or responding to a para. Of course, this is not something that needs to be done always, as we know that sometimes .gifs do not load or other technical difficulties sometimes arise, but... if you are able, please use them.

Our first interest check will be happening in 8 days. Since we do not do unfollows/regular activity checks (unless a player has personally stated they want to leave/drop their character/s), we will simply reach out about a hiatus if you interact but have not been active. 

If you happen to not interact with the post, we will assume that you are no longer interested in being with us and will post your unfollow. If you find we have made a mistake, or you simply missed the interest check, you’re free to shoot us an ask or pm and we will correct the post & refollow! 

A friendly reminder that we have two separate discord servers: a simple ooc server and an ic / group chat server. Both of them are optional and the invite links are provided in our ooc blog. 

If you’ve been active in the past three weeks, you are welcome to take on another character if you wish!

I did create an open discussion with the admin team and we now have two more open mun slots. So if you previously reserved a faceclaim or were interested in joining us before we re-opened, now’s your chance! Our dash is moving nicely and we’d love to have a couple more writers.
