As some of you know, the New Grass Revival was one of my biggest influences in music. They totally turned around my music perception when I was 18 yo, the same way as the Beatles did ten years before. I would never achieve anything I did if I wouldn’t heard “Friday Night In America” and then discovered previous great albums of this superstar band. I never had a chance to hear them live, for they disbanded before iron curtain fall down. But the members of the band alive and well and keep doing great music. Today I was able to listen to Sam Bush Band for almost two hours, and all this time flew like one minute. That was incredibly awesome show. They’re killers. Me and my wife drove all the way from Pawnee, OK to St. Louise, MO just to hear Sam. And he turned out to be a great guy in person besides the great musician.
