this guy is my main splatoon OC. they're Captain/Agent 3 of my splatOCverse and the ENTIRE verse (main timeline/alt timelines) revolves around them. i accidentally put so much of myself into this guy that they ended up LITERALLY invading my head to get back at me ig lol.
yes they're stupidly overpowered, no i don't care bc im having funnn. they are in a queerplatonic relationship with the octoling woman who led the first zapfish heist to steal the zapfish from inkopolis (she becomes Agent 8. she is also the ONLY one who can kick their ass in an inkbattle.) they used to be a pro-athlete as a teenager and getting kicked off their team was the inciting incident that made them become Agent 3. made me worldbuild ink magic just so i could give them an ink magic disorder about it. constantly putting their foot in their mouth courtesy of their #Autism to the point that "we need to kill Trip" is a running joke among my splat friends. they're even otherkin.
ngl, my splatoon ocverse is my thinly veiled excuse to have as many fun things as possible in one setting. worldbuilt to include the coroika manga characters. leaned all the way into inktolings, sharklings, raylings, and salmonlings. callie is a trans woman. a lot of the in-universe brands are just straight up descended royal families from old inkfish history. wanted to see if redeeming tartar was possible and now it is an integral part of the main timeline. working on redeeming grizz next maybe. my personal ink magic lore means there can deadass just be superheroes/supervillain groups. this world is MY OYSTER!!!!
