VANT: o novo karma do punk britânico
Em abril de 2015 a banda lançou seu primeiro projeto por conta própria o EP porrada “Parasite” com 2 músicas e 3 minutos de duração, que plantou o alvoroço entre as gravadoras major e críticos. Tempo depois foram contratados pela lendária Parlophone. Suas composições tem o dedo do meio levantado pra política onde dizem que o patriotismo é uma maldita mentira e chamam Jesus de um mero vigarista. O clipe de Fly By Alien soa como a época de ouro da MTV, parece que somos transportados para os seus desenhos e comerciais tudo ao mesmo tempo. Quando tocam ao vivo são puros. Mattie Vant (o frontman) se transforma num filho perdido de Kurt Cobain e Courtney Love jogando sua guitarra pro alto, se jogando ao público, fazendo solos atirado ao chão e beija os integrantes. Se o VANT abrir o show de alguma banda, o público vai estar lá para ver apenas o VANT e depois partir. Em 17 de fevereiro de 2017 eles irão lançar seu primeiro álbum “Dumb Blood” Se esperam um novo Nirvana te recomendo essa banda.

" Kurt, who probably really is 24, is very cute, with incredibly blue eyes which are set off nicely by his pink streaked hair. However, he is so skinny that I would like to force-feed him a solid meal. He's wearing disintigrating jeans and a cardigan over an ancient Flipper (the band, not the TV show) t-shirt. His black sneakers have holes in them. "He's got the number-one record," says Courtney, in her scratchy voice, "and he only has one pair of shoes."

“ "The record label didn't consider this a very successful shoot," photographer Kirk Weddle says of the underwater photos he took of Nirvana to complement the cover he shot for Nevermind.
"When I had shot the album cover, I was like the golden child. But with these, they were like, 'We hate 'em.'" He subsequently stuffed them away in a closet for years. He's since come around to the photos, which he took between the band's tour dates at around 10 a.m. on October 28th, 1991, a very cold day in Los Angeles “
