Day 1: What was your first finished project?
It was a garter stitch scarf. I knit it with the cotton dishcloth yarn you can find at Walmart. I think the brand is Peaches and Cream. I used about every scrap my mom had, and then bought a few more skeins to finish it off. It ended up a veritable rainbow of color. I actually rode a stationary bike as I worked on it at one point. I also remember my mom being very proud of my tight stitches. I am pretty positive the scarf is still floating around my parents house somewhere. It was a really fantastic scarf... if I find it I will post a picture.
