Do you ever think that hollywood producers deliberately change the gender/race/sexuality of a character to basically get free publicity for the movie, both from intolerant nerds and from people who want to see more representation?
I'm only thinking this because we were talking about the new casting for Pinhead (interesting choice, don't really know the actor but really excited to see what she does for the character) and my friend who HATES horror movies says she can't wait to see it just to "stick it to the nazis". Like she would've never seen a Hellraiser movie if they just wheeled out the same dude as Pinhead but now she's mad hype for it. The studio basically gained an extra customer without her even seeing a trailer and I GUARANTEE its the same for puritan nerds who'll give it the ol "hur hur I'm gonna watch it just so I can be angry online after"
Either way I'm pumped sick of being the only guy in the group who wants to watch Hellraiser. Definitely gotta get her to watch 1 & 2 though I know it's probably gonna be a reboot but still, top tier movies
I don’t know how to say this but for me it’s a little bit awkward that now Hermione is black I mean…when she was young she had light brown hair and things like that and now, suddenly she just changes. I just think that it’s a bit confusing
