                    dropping a case file on his desk, his eyes darted down to glance at her just as she looked up to catch the angry look he wore.   “no good news,”    he muttered, moving to slump in the chair that was across from hers.   “in fact, he pulled me off the damn case.”   jake was trying very hard to keep his cool, but keeping his anger in check wasn’t always a strong suit for him.   “something about being too close to the case, whatever.”

It’s been a while since Felicity has had the opportunity for a girls night - actually a while is putting it lightly. She walked over to the table carrying two drinks and set one down in front of Patty with a grin. “Okay, it’s been far too long since we had a good dishing session - what’s new?” She questions while plopping down in the seat across from Patty. Ever since the other girl moved to Starling City they’ve gotten close and she was glad for it.

『 👓 』        “Miss Spivot!” Gary had teleported over to the Waverider when he got a call from Patty. He didn’t know what special occasion brought her to bring him over, but he was hoping it would be some sort of MISSION... He was the Intern, afterall!

『 ⏰ 』       Finding people who are capable of being a part of a legendary team who will actually say YES is actually harder than you would think. Rip at first thought people would jump at the idea of time travelling and saving the future, but he was starting to learn the hard way that they were a lot harder to convince.

       He was hoping that Patty Spivot would be different. It did help that she was at a part of her life where she was separating herself from a life that she’d grown to have in Central City... and maybe it was a bit manipulative of him to show up at a time when she’s her most vulnerable, but this was the best time to convince her. She probably would want some time to clear her head from her mishap with Barry Allen, and so he awaited in his seat as the Flash himself made his way to talk to her.

       It was always interesting watching a scene play out when you already knew how it would end... like watching a movie that you’ve seen a million times. He wished that he could root for her and Barry Allen to get back together---they seemed like a perfect match, in his opinion---but that would be all for not because this is how it would always turn out.

                    the daxamite grinned at her words, mirroring her own.  of course the legion would notice that he wasn’t around, but that didn’t change the fact that he had to leave ― that he had to see her.   “yeah, i think they might.”   he continued to carry the joke for a moment, standing to his full potential to cross over to her.   “i just needed to make sure you were okay.  and if you needed me to stay, you know i would;  just say the word.”   he encouraged.
