Whether you're looking for a beach read or an exciting romantic suspense to get lost in for an afternoon or evening, this latest addition to the Never Too Late for Love Romantic Suspense Collection is a good choice. It's fast-paced with a good combination of action, danger, and some steamy goodness. Tony and Gabby are likable characters, and they each come with some baggage. Of course, I'd have been more surprised at a lack of baggage given their ages, and the things that happened in their pasts are believable. I love these quick reads that are both entertaining and engaging. These little reminders that passion and new love aren't only for the young give me a combination of heart-racing danger and a romance that leaves me with a smile. Janie Crouch and Regan Black have done it again, and I can't wait to see what's next in this series of standalones.

Amy and Beau make the sweetest couple once they get out of their own way. They each have baggage to deal with, which means they do a fair amount of tripping over the wrong things to say or do. Nevertheless, they totally belong together from the first time they meet - which is on meet cute level. Like the first three Never Too Late for Love books, Amy's Guardian is a fast-paced read that's perfect for whiling away an afternoon. It has a couple you genuinely want to root for, some action and danger, and even a treasure hunt. And without giving anything away, I'll just say that I loved the twist at the end. It was pretty perfect for Beau and Amy.I love that this series has been about couples closer to my own age, and I love the reminder that the fire between two people with so much chemistry isn't only for the young. Josie Jade and Regan Black make for a solid writing duo, and I'll be waiting to see what's next for them.

I'm thoroughly enjoying these visits to Heartbreak Key, and Robyn and Jake are my favorite couple so far. Of course, I love the others as well, but I connected with this one on a whole different level. If you've ever been in a toxic relationship, you can't help but relate to Robyn. Then there's Jake, who is just a total sweetheart. Both have things from their past to deal with, including how they parted ways all those years ago. Like the first two books in the Never Too Late for Love series, we get a quick read jam-packed with a great combination of romance, suspense, and danger. In this case, it's a second chance romance for Jake and Robyn, and I was rooting for them from the beginning. This writing duo has brought together some of my favorite things in romantic suspense and added in a couple around my own age - a reminder that real passion isn't just for the young. So, another fabulous couple in a series I'm absolutely loving. I can't wait to see what's next for Heartbreak Key and to see if Robyn and Jake remain my favorite couple or if the next one takes their place.
