(neverrunfromafight; it is me, Miss T) "Sir", Vinda Rosier was carefully slipping into Grindelwald's office, "We found something you might want to have a look at. A useful asset for the cause." She stopped besides his desk and with a wave of her wand conjured an image of a slender, blond woman behind bars. "The Circus Arcaneous is currently housing something they think is a Maledictus, but that girl does not behave like one. She can bend steel and seems resistent to spells! What do you think?"
It had been mere days before the parisian rally, and Grindelwald was going through the final bits of his plan on leaving Credence the breadcrumbs he needed to lure the boy to his side with the promise of knowing who he actually was. It was so simple really, once knowing what exactly Credence wanted. Upon hearing Vinda, Grindelwald looked up, his brows furrowing lightly as he first observed her, then the image she conjured, heterochomic eyes focusing intently on the blonde woman pictured.Â
Gellert was no stranger to Circus Arcaneus, his sources telling him that Credence was, until very recently there, though, there was a certain risk to it as well. Naturally, he couldn’t just have others go to the Circus, especially not if a woman was captive there, with powers that could truly be useful for the cause. No, he would have to go there himself, in disguise, with Vinda, not wanting to risk being recognized. The last thing he wanted was Aurors to show up and ruin his plans before they even properly started.
Taking on the disguise of Abernathy, as nobody would ever suspect him, he made his way with Vinda towards the Circus, wanting to see the woman and her powers during the show first before asserting whether or not it was truly worth the trouble or not.
