So, my conlang is for Max Steel (2013) and is called Ta'nat, which means, literally, people-speak (Ta meaning people, nat meaning speak).

Ta'nat has some influence from German (many things are franken-words held together with apostrophes and glitter glue), with at least one other influence from Japanese (how at least one word is pronounced lol and where that word was derived from).

Ta'nat doesn't have several sounds that English does, like the X/ks (like in axe or kicks) and W sounds, for example, which means that the titular character, Maxwell "Max" McGrath, would be stuck with something closer to Mak'ell for his full given name.

I recently came up with a couple of new words, since they're going to be showing up in a new fic series I'm going to be working on once I finish Rewriting Fate: Kada, Kadat, and Tor'kadat. Kada is the singular sibling (like, you don't know if Mom's unborn baby is going to be a boy or a girl? Baby Kada), Kadat is siblings, and Tor'kadat means bond-siblings literally, twins in usage.

Hello! So, I'm gonna give you a sample of some words in Ninjagan, because it's really pretty much just a franken-language where it's made up of two different languages with inconsistent smushing-together and a couple words from the show (primarily Spinjitzu) 😅

SO! Ta’Nat! I haven’t come up with many new words recently, but I DID come up with a difference!

So. Tor’kadat means ‘twins’ in usage, yes? Yes. However, translated literally, it means ‘bond-siblings’. Now, how am I going to differentiate between twins and adopted siblings? Well! I figured it out!

Introducing kadat’tor! Same words, same basic meaning, but the translation is ‘siblings by bond’!

I’ll also give you a headcanon thing I’ve had for a while—Ta’Kiri/Takonians have literally incredible voices. Like, if a Ta’Kiri did karaoke, it doesn’t matter if they’re considered a bad singer by Ta’Kiri standards, any human hearing them would be entranced by how good they sound in the human hearing range.

I also have a little hypothetical game Ta’Kiri kids could play! I don’t know what it’s named (yet), but it’s basically hide and seek with a twist. The twist? The seeker is blindfolded and has to find the other kid/s using their ta’sutashi’natena/t! It helps teach kids how to identify different frequencies and how to muffle their ta’su’na (abbreviated form of ta’sutashi’natena).

Ninjagan (again, no proper name yet, and I’m not talking about Ninjargon, which is just a cipher replacing letters in English. Fun to mess with but not an actual language)(Lego Ninjago)

A brief and incomplete glimpse into sutashi and its significance to Takonians, otherwise known as the Ta’Kiri

Sutashi is roughly translated into English as 'soul-heart-core'. More recently, it has been termed Takion Unlimited Radiant Bio-Optimized energy, shortened to TURBO energy, by Jim McGrath. Sutashi is a bright blue energy that is extremely powerful and is generated organically by Takonians (natively known as Ta’Kiri).

Sutashi is considered to be integral to one's very being, so any violations of this, such as siphoning off some of someone's sutashi without permission, is considered to be reprehensible, provided that there is not a valid reason, such as a medical necessity. Siphoning is only possible through two means: technology and biology. There has been technology developed for the purpose of siphoning off sutashi for two purposes. The first purpose was for medicine; there are some Takonians who are born unable to regulate their sutashi as they should or they develop the inability through some (typically traumatic) means.

The second purpose was for war. Before the unification under Mk'rah, the House of Aid, scientists developed terrible weapons meant to siphon whole armies dry, leaving hundreds, if not thousands, dead on the battlefield. These weapons were outlawed, their designs and the weapons themselves were destroyed, and the people who created them locked up for the rest of their lives for their crimes. There are legends of a third reason for siphoning, that being the transference of power from one to another, but the stories are largely ignored.

Biological siphoning is something that Takonians themselves are incapable of, but it is something that many animals native to Takion are capable of. The creatures of Takion generate something similar enough to sutashi that any of the animals that siphon this energy are also able to siphon sutashi with little issue and no detrimental effects to the animal.
