Genesis had been working for The First Order for only a few months and had already managed to move up the ranks as Master Crix had instructed her to do. It wasn’t like it was hard. Her pheromones paired with her natural abilities had given her an upper hand. The First Order still didn’t know what had hit it. Yet, a bad feeling crossed over her when she was approached by a higher ranking officer, informing her that she was requested to meet with The Supreme Leader immediately. For what, Genesis couldn’t imagine.

Perhaps her cover was blown and that was enough to make her feel a little nervous. Yet she brushed herself off and followed the officer to the Supreme Leader’s throne room. She swallowed thickly, not sure what to expect and so when her eyes rested on the most beautiful woman she had ever seen, well, her brain stopped for a moment.

“Supreme Leader...” Genesis managed to gasp out, bowing respectfully before the woman greeted her. The Zeltron looked up at her, pink cheeks turning into a scarlet purple from blushing. Had anyone ever had such an affect on her before? No.

“You are the face of the New Republic now. Just because the Empire is gone does not mean you are safe.” Ben rolled his eyes at his advisor who spoke to him as he sat at his desk in his office on Chandrila. His long legs crossed and his foot twiddling with a sort of agitation that made most nervous. He hadn’t trained under his Uncle like everyone had expected him to. His mother’s untimely death had given him a change of heart. Most even thought he had cut off his ties with the force completely, but those close to him knew he had not. There was a darkness in him -- you could see it in his eyes.

“So you say.” Ben replied with a gesture of the hand, “So then you’ve hired a group of people to what? Play body guard?” He scoffed, “I think I can very well take care of myself or do you disagree?” They both knew his words were both challenge and threat. Disagreeing with Ben Solo was worse than even talking back to his mother. She’d had that motherly sort of worry while he...had other things.

“No, sir. It’s more precautionary than actual urgency. I’m sorry if my actions have insulted you. I only mean the best for you.” The advisor bowed and Ben sighed slowly. The relief flooding through the older man’s shoulders as he realized he wasn’t in as deep shit with Ben Solo as he perhaps may have thought -- or his ass kissing had in fact saved his own ass.

“I will meet with them and then I will make a decision. Does that seem like a fair agreement?” Ben questioned. The man stood up in attention and nodded.

The battle was getting intense. The droids were closing in on them and they were admittedly running out of options. Their troop numbers were dwindling rapidly. It was hard or Anakin to watch honestly. Obi-Wan had tried his best to comfort him, but Ahsoka had seemed just as upset about what was happening here. This felt like a battle they weren’t going to win. It came as a surprise then, when he heard some of the droids scattering about, as if a threat were coming from behind them. That was when Anakin laid eyes on a boy. He was ... literally fighting off droids with a green lightsaber.

“Who in the force is that?” Obi-Wan questioned and Anakin’s brows furrowed.

It had been awhile since Luky had left the Jedi order run by the infamous Luke Skywalker, even longer since he had seen the group of people he could even hardly call friends. Yet here they were, sans the one who had seemed to be the leader. What had her name been? Abby. Right. Abby. Luky wasn’t good with names, but faces were his thing and although the gang was older now, he still felt familiarity in their features and of course, their force signatures. Not that Luky used those powers much, but some things just came natural.

“I’m guessing you got my message?” Luky said, leaning on the table in the cantina, “I told you all I know so...why you’re here or how you’ve found me in the first place is kinda...beyond me.”  He scrunches his nose before leaning back in his seat -- his constantly changing position a sign of obvious discomfort.

“Listen, kid-” Abby tried to say, but she almost immediately cut herself off. This woman was her age now, but in the real, correct timeline, it made sense for Aadila to be as old as Countess Orchind. Assuming she lived that long, of course, and being a survivor of Order 66 at the onset of the Empire’s rule...things weren’t looking good.

But Abby wasn’t here to change any of that. It would be foolish of her to even try, knowing what she knew about the future of the galaxy. What she needed to do was get home, and the only way she could think to do that was seek out her mother. It had been Nikai’s technology that had sent her here; she could only hope that such technology would exist now, so that she could get back.

“I wish I could help you,” Abby said earnestly. “But I’m in trouble myself, and I’m sure Imperial entanglements are the last thing you want.”

Their numbers were becoming more and more slim. The Jedi were a dying breed and though Aadila had come across a fair amount of force sensitives -- both trained and untrained -- the odds still weren’t in her favor. How many people did she have to watch die? How many bodies would it take for her to be strong enough to face HIM? Her hands were shaking at the woman’s refusal. Aadila could feel that she was strong in the force. She had to teach her. Aadila knew she only had so much longer before Inquisitors and Vader would catch up to her. She needed to be ready. She wasn’t ready.

“You know, I do.” Abby sucked in a breath through her teeth, unsure of where to even begin when it came to this man. “First and foremost, can we make a deal? Just a little you don’t kick my ass, I don’t kick your ass situation? Because I can tell you’re not with the Order anymore, but I also get the feeling that when I didn’t let you drag me back to them in a bodybag, your superiors got a little pissed. I’d love to just smooth that whole thing over, if that’s alright with you.”

“I thought that was sort of unspoken when we didn’t go for each other’s throats immediately.” Kha’il said with a hint of a smile. Abby surely was one of the few people he actually respected. After her little getaway and managing to put up a fight against him. He still had scars to bare because of her, but he wasn’t bitter. After all, they seemed to have a common goal.
