No Particular Thing
Let's see... There's no particular thing to turn into some ramblings, but I'm sure once I've finished this sentence or the next one, I'll pour out like a tap that has run dry for an eternity and a half. What a phrase that is - Forever and then some. If forever never ends, was there a beginning to add to the concept? Have I not lived forever? I've been here since my memories began, and even before than what I can recollect. If I've been alive since the beginning, I shall have no end. I am immortal. I will never wither away and die of life's accord. I'll die when my fate leads there, if it does. Of course, if it does not phase me, and I know what will become of me, will I truly die? What does death mean in the first place? Will the organisms that compose my body live on, and even thrive? My memories will fade away like wind, and my ego will melt into nothingness, but my physical body, and the head that once caged the thoughts of my freedom still exists to rot away when the time comes for that, too. Won't my eyes still gaze at the world, which will one day rot as I will?
