Shaping
I have celebrated huge wins And I have faced debilitating losses And sometimes itâs hard to tell the difference between the two the experiences we have are what makes us who we are At least I hope thatâs true That way I actually have some kind of excuse
I have stood my ground and prepared to fight and I have dropped to my knees in defeat itâs just part of life they want us to believe and we do because none of us really has anything better to do And boredom will kill you that old wives tale has some truth
I have laughed with someone I love and I have cried in front of people I dislike the scales were tipped and now the pot is empty nothing to claim but a few scars a goodbye and maybe, if weâre lucky a thank you
I have been smooth, charming, confident and I have been rough, broken, silent Personality changes as we face time Itâs all environmental we are the world around us the voices overlapping
I have climbed the tallest of mountains and I have fallen into the lowest of valleys I have tasted life and Iâve danced with death
I still canât say that Iâve seen it all Iâm not that jaded not yet
