     The Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology is widely known for its annual celebration and organizing of some events with regards to cultural presentation and conservation. Likewise, events like this mostly organized to show and maintain the solidness of the campuses and compete for their glory at the same time. The University also promotes cultural awareness for each and everyone as its preservation difficulties are happening and hard to control for the western culture seemingly abusing and invading us youth.

      Last July 21, 2015 the University annually celebrated UlatngPangulo as well as the Cultural Night was successfully done through the effort of different organizations, political and non-political group of the university, especially the University Student Government headed by the student President, Jomarie Manalus and the Head Mrs. Teresita Vega. The astounding event happened in the same day. The president’s speech held at Sumacab campus and the Cultural presentation at Dona Asuncion G. Romulo Memorial Hall (DAGRMH) General Tinio Campus, later that night.

       The most awaited Cultural Night was attended by Professionals and students from different campuses and other Non-teaching personnel. Membersof Literary and Cultural Development Centre (LCDC) fired up as they commenced the celebration.The group failed to disappoint every spectator as they perform a highly intensified routine. Amazed and stunned faces from spectators were clearly seen as the performance went by. Electrifying ambiance and the loud myriad applause that the group received after the performance made the stage floor to fire up.

      Festive and joyful mood surrounded the whole gymnasium as selected students from each campus prepared and performed for their magnanimous song and dance numbers. Extravagant auras of the students who waited and supported their representatives through cheers and screams spread throughout the hall. All presentations and group shined throughout that night.  Every jaw-breaking and excellent presentation collected multitude round of applause from the viewers. Outstanding presentations amazed every spectator as well as the President and the guests.

      The event aimed to illustrate and preserve those considered as local treasures such as native dances found in different localities of the Philippines. And also, it was intended to showcase the superb talents and creativeness of the students of the university from each departments and campuses.

The event concluded its finale as Dr. Alex Lee, Administrator of lifelong College, Hong Kong, presented a plaque of appreciation to the President Emeritus of the University, Atty. Hilario C. Ortiz for his unparalleled leadership and immeasurable contributions in this University.
