            with her mom doing paper work, lizzie headed off in search for her other favourite person: her aunt. she had seen on the board that the brunette was in the operating room and the youngster couldn’t resist and headed towards the room in question. walking up the stairs to the gallery, lizzie ignored the stares and whispers she was getting from those that didn’t know her and leaned against the window to watch her aunt in action. when she watched her mother or her aunt in action, it made her so happy. at the question the older brunette threw the interns way, she couldn’t help but snort faintly at the smug answer, so wrong. pressing the intercom, lizzie cleared her throat before speaking “I think you’ll find that answer is incorrect because the type of stitch you’ve suggested isn’t actually recommended in neurosurgery because of not being to do the stitches tight enough.”

“ you need a scrub nurse and no one is going to trade surgeries with me this late or when you’re this cranky. ”

     “i NEED you to teach me to drive, because if zola makes me late for school one more time we’re both getting detention.”

“It’s really not that bad. It’s fine, even, y’know?”

     by the time arizona had arrived in los angeles, arizona basically had to run from the taxi to the scrub room as she quickly changed into her scrubs and scrubbed in, heading into the operating room with a smile on beind her mask “it’s a beautiful day to save lives.”

                “ so.  ———— and if it was?” a smirk graced tainted lips. lithe digits wrapped around the glass of red wine that she brought closer to her mouth. earlier that evening, she spilled alfredo sauce on her blouse when she was cooking dinner for the two of them. so, she decided to take it upon herself to roam through the brunette’s closet to see if she could find something else to wear. it happened to be an overly comfortable band t-shirt. one that arizona had never heard of before, but that didn’t seem to bother her much.
