FloraSpectmber Prompt 6- Carnivore
Networt (Neoutricularia gigantea)
A true giant compared to it's terran bladderwort cousins. Networt is as dependent on fishermen as are they are to this plant. It grows sturdy traps to capture fish but not digest them for fishermen to take, but also grows snap-chambers for fishermen to deposit guts/scraps for the plant to digest. The floral spurs are often used as grapple/tie points for ease of handling.
While wild untended-to Networt can be very rarely found in some places, they hardly thrive as well as the ones cared for by fishermen and tend to be significantly smaller and weaker.
