Kasteel de Haar (Castle De Haar), near Haarzuilens, Province of Utrecht, Netherlands.

The oldest historical record of a building at this location dates to 1391. In that year, the family De Haar received the castle and the surrounding lands in fief. The current buildings, built over an older castle, date from 1892.
The arms of the previous owners (Van Zuylen) are three red columns placed 2 and 1 on a white field. This explains the red and white decoration on the window shutters.
