We have netting on all the windows to prevent bird collisions. The last few years the Great created Flycatchers have helped themselves to pieces of the netting for their nests. Great Crested Flycatchers sometimes use shed snake skins in their nests. We are hoping she likes these skins and leaves the netting intact. #GreatCrestedFlycatcher #VTBirds #NestingMaterial #SnakeSkin (at Birds of Vermont Museum) https://www.instagram.com/p/CPJdOZoB74W/?utm_medium=tumblr

A cool little simple solution for putting out bird nesting material is to use a peg and the washing line. The material was kindly donated by Geena the Alpaca. #alpaca #nesting #nestingmaterial #wildlife #birdsnest #birds #springwatch #spring
