I made some soup mugs over the weekend! I’m not happy with the form yet, but it was a good first step. I’m wanting to makemakemake to build skill and form but I also have a strong urge to be economical with my clay and responsible about what I bring into the world. Quantity brings new ideas and skill, but I have a responsibility to bring quality objects into a world which already is pushed to the brim with objects and waste. Eventually I’ll find the balance.
