#nervous!

good morning, ashley! happy sunday!

yesterday was nice! i mostly just sat outside because of the really nice weather and planned my book <3 i downloaded this new writer software that i'm having fun playing around with solely because i was getting sick of the google docs interface. after that, i filed my taxes and facetimed my bestie ! it was a nice day <3

today, it's another nice day (actually warmer) and i'm getting ready to submit some query letters. i'm trying not to overthink it lest i start editing things again, but after i send like 6 or so out, i'll probably go back to book-planning.

"Crow? We need to talk..."

"Don't bother playing peacemaker, Tal. I meant what I said."

"Petra can defend herself. Its not that."

"Then what is it?"

"I... I don't want you talking to Savathûn."

"Oh, here we go-"

"I'm serious! She's dangerous, everything she says is a trick. Who knows what she might make you believe."

"You talk to her just fine. And you knew Osiris longer than me."

"Thats not the point-"

"Then what is the point? Huh? Because from where I'm sitting, its starting to sound like you just don't trust me. Traveler's Light, I can't believe you're taking Petra's side..."

"Theres no sides! I just want you to be safe because I care about you!"

"So did Osiris. He's... She's half the reason I'm still here. I don't care why you think she did it, that means something to me."

"You think she did that out of the goodness of her heart!? Shes gaslighting you! Me, everyone else! Savathûn is the queen of lies, it's her nature to play you for a fool. Im not going to let her lead you away from me."

"You really think I'm that gullible?" Crow snorts, unimpressed. "You're just like them, aren't you? Can't let go of who I was?"

"Crow, I-"

"Just save it. I'm going to have my audience whether you're there or not. Just never thought I'd have to creep around on eggshells with you."
