I’m surprised a race that has spent more millennia fleeing and fighting the burning legion than Tyrande and malfurion have been alive would be so isolationist and teach so little of what they know to everyone else.
I mean thats what makes me squint a lot at the whole...First Horde thing.
The orcish home world was hardly the first world they settled and surely not the first world the Burning Legion destroyed because of them. This was a point of being routine: find and world, settle, the Legion comes, they escape by the skin of their teeth, the world is burned down by demons. So I have to wonder why:
- They settled a world with sentient life, knowing their past with the Legion.
- Didnt keep a keener eye out for the Legion.
- Somehow didnt notice the normally disparate orcish clans suddenly gathering up together.
- And starting to make tons of metal armor
I mean I know they kept to themselves and kept themselves mostly behind their holograms, but you dont militarize a massive force like the First Horde over night. It takes weeks or months of non-stop resource gathering, construction and organizing. The draenei had to absolutely be asleep on this for them to be surprise attacked.
And honestly I wonder if there's any sort of regret from the draenei that they lead the Legion to yet another world.
