the woes of a nerdfighter

Since becoming a hard-core nerdfighter about a month and a half ago I have found that people sometimes think I am a little weird...

1) I get excited about giraffe love and people stare at me.

2) All of my time away from my computer is spent reading John Green and Maureen Johnson novels.

3) I live on tumblr and youtube. ALWAYS.

4) I am enthralled with the life of a fake football team and sing songs about the players while I am doing my homework.

5) The rest of my time is spent waiting for The Fault in Our Stars to come out, listening to Hanks songs, and trying to find one other nerdfighter that goes to my school.

It's a hard life not forgetting to be awesome.

The Chronicles of Nerdfighteria

‘Welcome to the Kingdom of Nerdfightaria, ruled by the great brothers King John and King Hank, along with the lovely Queen Yeti and Queen Katherine and the young Prince Henry. The Kingdom of Nerdfightaria is a magical place filled with puppy-sized elephants and plenty of giraffes who like giraffes. The wildlife greatly improved a number of years ago, when the kings issued a royal decree banning all unicorns from the kingdom.

Now as I’m sure you’ll agree this is all incredibly awesome. But alas! The Kingdom of Nerdfightaria is under threat from the evil Decepticons, who are using the dark force known only as ‘world suck’ to try and overthrow us. But do not fear! World suck has existed for as long as Nerdfightaria itself, and we have survived so long due to the many efforts to combat world suck made by the peoples of this realm – those gallant knights known as Nerdfighters. Nerdfighters fight to increase awesome and decrease suck, so are naturally the bravest sort of heroes around.’
