Emily of New Moon by L.M. Montgomery is definitely something you should look up. In a way, it is more mature and it has some darker colours in it but it is still fluffy as Anne books. If I remember correctly it is also a bit more autobiographical than Anne books. I might like them even more than Anne books... Which is a big statement for me hahah.

Ohh, I am really excited to hear about the books! I have fallen in love with reading again when I have realised how healing it is just to read. Now when I am finally finished with my year in university I have just decided to read what I want. I have gotten back with my old favourites, Harry Potter and the Brontë sisters.
Isn’t it so nice to go back to reading? I’d completely lost the pleasure of it, and it’s wonderful to be back to it. Have fun with Harry Potter and the Brontës!
