The amount of people across the whole internet already unknowingly spreading the misinformation that Troodon is valid now is a little disappointing.
Troodon isn't valid yet. It was only suggested as a neotype.
Most important elements of the paper:
"Our recoding of T. formosus supports Troodontinae as a group but, unfortunately, does not clarify the relationships within it.
We propose that T. formosus would benefit from the introduction of a neotype, namely MOR 553."
I ask you all to please read the paper (atleast the conclusion) or double-check your sources before speaking on the matter so that we can make scientific news flow more smoothly! :)
