wrote up what i currently have for NeonCross, all under the cut because its kinda long for a tumblr post:
NeonCross is a story I'm currently trying to work on. It's kind of a magical-girl story, but also focused on my Kandi-Gore concept plus a main theme of "wanting to be remembered."
Kandi-Gore essentially means "When a character gets attacked, their blood is neon (Like glow-stick fluid) and full of beads and string." The protagonists collect the beads and string after battles and make bracelets out of them so they can remember their battles and other characters better.
* Each character that joins the main group gets a Cross (X) somewhere on their accessories that they can use to transform into a more magical form (Example: Yui has the Cross on her hair bows). (The main group also gets their own transformation sequences because I think stuff like that is really cool (^-^ ;;))
** I have a vague idea for the main villain, but not enough of an idea to fully describe them…
For now, I imagine battles against Nobody (plural). Nobody are shadowy beings with white lights for eyes. They basically exist just to be attacked and destroyed very easily. They still bleed, and said blood still has beads and string, but its there more for aesthetics than to actually make Kandi bracelets out of (Yui does have a bracelet from the first Nobody she killed though).
(I'll probably have more lore later, but this is basically all I have right now… Apologies if anyone is underwhelmed (._. ;;))
