NEN IS NOT DEAD
Hello readers of New England Nightmare… my webcomic series I have not updated in a year.
For a long period of time, I took a break from updating the site.
I probably won’t be updating the site at all for a while, because I am starting over fresh.
The main issue of my first attempt at nen was that I had changed too much along the way, causing the early chapters to not line up well with the vision I had upon entering the second act.
Progress is slower, as I want to write the whole story before I get to making the art.
Here are some important changes to anticipate:
-NEN no longer takes place in the mid 80s. There are no given dates, as Palindrome doesn’t need to be confined by time. A version of the Internet exists and will be used by characters.
-NEN will be told in one medium, a visual novel. It will be released in 3 parts.
-Might change Emery to be a woman. It’s in the air. Girls are just better than boys
Hope you stick along and play my game when it’s out. As always with NEN, it’ll just be me writing with a friend to help code, so be patient.
