Not to jinx anything but every year since i got into hockey i started stanning a different team at the very beginning of the season, and every year that team either won the c*p or went to the final. This year the sabres are my new fixation so........ fingers crossed
I’m really intrigued to see where these Sabres go. Do I think it’s playoffs... most likely no, not this year. but it’s honestly just a relief to see them have success and growth that they’ve been talking about for years but have never been able to show until this season. “Actions Speak,” really a fitting motto for this season... Like Sean Tierney said in his analytics of the team so far, “They’re finally... okay.”
And after all those seasons? Honestly, that’s all people wanted to ask for at this point. I do believe that the Sabres are finally moving toward being a real contending team though, and that the winds of change are finally finally blow through for real this time.
But thanks for the support!!! I’m really really curious and excited to see where this team stands in February and March and hell yeah... maybe even late April and beyond.
