I wanted to ask you if you were okay because I've been following you since your early begining and I noticed that you stopped posting drarry fics for almost a year now, so I'm getting worried ! Do you leave the drarry fandom ? Are you in a new fandom ? Are you still witing ? Are you alright ?

Hey love !

As you may see, it took me days and weeks to answer you. I had no word to express how much this ask meant to me but also it put me under so much pressure on how to answer you properly ❤️

First of all, yes I'm leaving the drarry fandom ! (For now, and I don't know when I'll come back) I had an amazing time writing those fics and meeting amazing people ! Unfortunately, things happens, trust has been shattered (trice) and so I decided to take a break 🧘🏼‍♀️

Secondly some of my works has been stolen on Ao3 and reposted unwillingly to another website. I was angry and so I put all my work under registers only. I lost many views and all, which didn't help 🙃

Then, I bought a house last year and I've been overwhelmed by the moving and the joy left le because I had so much work to do at my workplace that I ended in ✨depression✨.

Depression means less creativity ! I tried to get unto an old fandom again, didn't work, couldn't find the motivation. So I left again. I kept working at my workplace but now I'm under meds, I'm slowly getting better ✌️

I'm working on personal project (serie of books), I'm writing slowly, getting help from my friends who encouraging me amazingly and stay behind me to tell me it's okay if I don't write.

I cried a lot last year. Because of me, because of people, because of everything.

But I'm better ❤️

This is a rewrite from my first bkdk fic I posted on Wattpad, years ago ! I'm kinda happy how it turned out ! 🥰 Big kudos to @edema--ruh for helping me beta read this fic ! ❤️

Katsuki hates rain, it's not a secret to anyone. He hates being wet and his quirk doesn't work like it should be. 

But since they were children, Katsuki had noticed Izuku's behaviour toward him during this weather. And from many years he hated it, how the nerd was caring and trying to make Katsuki's life better. 

Now, he can't help and fell in love each time. 

"Kacchan!" Izuku says with a soft smile as he opens the umbrella. "Do you want to have dinner? I know a good place!" 

Katsuki shrugged but takes notes that Deku's left shoulder is wet because that dumbass was giving the whole umbrella above Katsuki to protect him. 

"Today, Daichi made an uncredible move with his quirk! I'm glad you're accepting to play the villain from time to time." 

"You're too soft with them!" Katsuki growled gently. "Aizawa's sensei is right, you should be harsher toward them." 

"Why should I when you alone traumatise them for an entire week?"

"If they can't handle me as a villain then they can't handle a real villain." 

Katsuki sees the nerd rolling his eyes but says nothing. Then he notices the gently push from the nerd to go to the train station. 

To avoid the rain.

They keep going like this until they reach the restaurant. And Katsuki's heart flusters when Izuku, who first sits in front of him, exchanges his seat with the one beside Katsuki so the blonde hero wouldn't see the rain draopping at the nearest window on their left. All that during his rant about their students, trying hard to not making it obvious of his moves. 

But Katsuki sees them all. How Izuku is so devoted to him that it became a second nature for the nerd. He keeps talking, as if nothing was happening. All natural.

"I love you!" Katsuki says softly, almost on his own breathe. 

"Did you says something?" Izuku asks, confused.

"Nothing. What do you want to eat? It's on me." 

"Kacchan! I'm the one inviting you to dinner, I'm paying!" 

"No argue, Izuku. Take all the things you want." 

Izuku looks at him, trying to analyse his behaviour and that makes Katsuki chuckle and he ruffles the green hair. 

"Stop being paranoid! I'm treating my friend, I can't do that?" 

Izuku giggles and that's music to Katsuki's ears. 

"Okay Kacchan, next time it's my turn!" 

"Whatever nerd!" 

Next time, it will be the right moment to propose. 

Izuku's looking at his window, enjoying the summer night breeze. Since he was a teacher he never enjoy the meteor rain like before. Every years he used to see it with Kacchan, but ever since they graduate from UA and seperated from their carrer, he never had chance to spend time with Kacchan like before.

Kacchan was busy saving people, and Izuku would never blame him. They trained hard for this, and seeing his childhood friend fulfilling his dream was amazing.

He looked at the sky with a bit of regret in his heart, wondering where was Kacchan and if he had eaten already. Then he saw it.

A shooting star!

Immediately Izuku closed his eyes and prayed that Kacchan would be always safe. He always prayed that, making sure his friend would come back to him without problem.

"I should remind him to eat..." Izuku mumbled as he took his phone from his pocket. "I know he won't answer but at least I'll try!"

He sent the message and looked up at the sky again. His phone buzzed once again.

[Kacchan] : Why are you still up?

[Deku] : Enjoying the meteors, why?

Izuku's heart beat increased with happiness, Kacchan took time to answer him. He was glad that their friendship fot better those last years.

"You should come on your roof, nerd! The view is better!" Kacchan's voice from above startled Izuku!

"Waaa-chan! What are you doing here?" Izuku leaned from his balcony to see the blond on the roof of his appartment.

"Enjoying the meteors with you!"

Katsuki jumped from the roof and landed smoothly on the balcony. His cocky smile made Izuku flustered.

"Why here?" He asked, almost embarassed that Kacchan was so close.

"It's been a long time. And I was around so..." Katsuki shrugged and looked up at the sky. "But I'm right, the view is shit here!"

"Hey! It's a great view!" Izuku argued!

"Let's improved that!"

Before Izuku could ask what he meant, Kacchan took him by his waist and used his quirk to jump out the balcony. Izuku felt the wind on his hair and had a good memory of when he could use his own quirk to do that...

"Now it's better! What do you think, nerd?" Katsuki was smiling, proud of himself.

The best view he could have in years. Katsuki was here, alive and safe. Beside him.

Chapter 6 : Challenger

Chapter 1 - Previous chapter

I click rapidly with my finger on my computer mouse, my eyes following Tisha, my fairy character with a bow. She moves alongside my support character, Troy. He is a wizard with healing abilities.

We’re running toward the runes on the ground. There are two runes on each side of the map. If both are activated together then the draconic towers from the enemy team are deactivated for forty seconds. 

The runes are called Liry or Niry. Niry, the blue rune, is for the deactivation of the enemy towers. Liry, the red rune, is to make our own towers stronger and get a schield. Every five minutes the runes change colour. 

So we’re running to the right side of the map, going for the deactivation. 

“Come on, come on!” I say out loud. 

The platform is safe, no enemies in sight. I put down a ward so I can keep an eye on the bushes nearby. I walk my character on the platform. Five seconds pass. The runes are now activated. 

“Go! Go! Go!” I shout. 

Just then, an enemy appears. A jungler called Higoo who looks like a strange penguin. Tisha shoots an arrow, burning the poor jungler and slowing him down. Troy gives a speed boost with his ability as Tisha keeps attacking Higoo. The more Higoo tries to run away, the more Tisha’s arrows burn him. And just before he arrives back at his basecamp, I kill him. 

“Divine!” The game voice praises me. 

I snort and quickly push the tab button on my keyboard to see look at the other team. Already  three enemies are defeated. I smile as my teammates and I go directly to the Wyvern nest, ready to kill the big Wyvern egg where my two other teammates join us. Our mid laner is dead but it’s still four against one. 

All of us ignore the minions who spawn as we start the fight. They’re tiny Wyvern running toward us, blowing fireballs in our direction and trying to hit us with their claws. Unbothered by them, we continue to attack the egg until it explodes.

My heart beats fast as the words VICTORY appear on the screen. My smile grows larger when I click the next button and a box appears with the notification that I’m now ranked as Challenger. 

I did it! 

I do a little happy dance, clapping my hands together. I’m a Challenger! After weeks of intense practice with Maeva constantly supporting me all night, I did it. 

I take a deep breath. I’m all alone right now. It’s Wednesday. Maeva is practicing with her team tonight. I immediately take my phone and write her a message on discord. 

[Me]: Guess who’s now a Challenger 😎👌

I sigh and lean back in my chair. I can’t believe I made it. 

Ping.

I look down at my phone, hoping for Maeva’s reply. Unfortunately, it’s Justin. 

[Justin]: Congratulations! You’re now a Challenger! 

[Justin]: And we’re accepting you as one of us! 

Wait what?

[Justin]: I was so happy when we saw your application! But since you weren’t a Challenger, the president wasn’t really convinced yet. But now it won’t be a problem anymore! 

Application? What?

[Me]: What are you talking about?

[Justine]: Your application as our new DPS for the DiP.

[Me]: Justin… I’ve never applied. 

I stare at my phone. What the fuck? I’m not even sure right now if I want to join them. Who could have— 

I roll my eyes. Of course. 

[Me]: Mae did this, didn’t she? 🙄

[Justin]: Probably. 

[Justin]: We’re talking about you a lot lately. She was so sure you would be Challenger before the deadline this Saturday. 👀

[Justin]: Do you need more time to think about it? 

I take a deep breath. Do I need more time? Maeva has done this because she believes in me. Even Justin seems like he was relieved it’s me. However… I don't know if I’m fully ready yet. 

[Me]: Yeah… Don't tell Maeva yet, though. 

[Justin]: Don’t worry. My lips are sealed 👌Tell me your choice before Saturday afternoon. We have to make a final decision before Sunday night. 

[Me]: Okay, I will. Thank you.
