Introducing my two Neithersonas! That's Rosemary on the left and Sadie on the right. They're in love and you are powerless to stop them (beetlejuice is determined to be involved though 😏)
Everyone look at the amazing commission piece I got from @olexxx ! 😍 I really liked the piece they did with BJ and Lydia with their pride flags, so I had them draw my Neithersona with BJ and all their pride flags, and it came out Wonderful! 🥰
I wanted to make a “Neithersona” for myself, with the idea being that when you go to the neitherworld, your look changes. Kinda how when Lydia goes to the neitherworld, she gets her signature red spiderweb poncho, while in the real world, she usually has a purple dress or her school uniform. (this is all based on the cartoon, if you couldn’t tell.) I made my neithersona more like what I would look like if I died and ended up there, rather than being a visiting living person, like Lydia. (hence the green skin & yellow eyes)
Btw, if there’s any other fans of the cartoon (or even the movie & musical, tbh) that wants to make their own neither(or nether)sona, then by all means, make one! I would love to see more of them from the Beetlejuice community! All our sonas can be pals! ;)
(PS: in case you’re confused, the cartoon calls the afterlife the “NEITHERworld” while the movie & the musical call it the “NETHERworld”)
