So things have only gotten more interesting in the weeks since I last mentioned my neighbor. He's an odd duck. Every week I have to mention to him about being loud in one regard or another. Last week it was him and his girlfriend screaming their lungs off at one another in our shared hall. Full on scream match. Not enjoyable. The weeks before it was his music being blasted a little too loud. This week though, is the real brain scratcher. He's already gotten a new girl, and both of them have been going in and out of his apartment non stop. Doors slamming, going in and out of his apartment at all hours of the day. Last night heard them going out at 2am. The other day, I found him sitting in our landing just looking at his phone. This morning is girlfriend was doing the same. Sitting in the landing and just staring at her phone. I said hi and went on my way. Odd fucking behavior. Well now I know why. When he moved in he asked if he could rent internet from me. $10 a month to use my internet. I politely declined. He said he couldn't put his name on anything and didn't want to sign up. Fine, your call bud. Last weekend he asked me again and I again refused. He then told me that he was gonna rent from someone upstairs. Great. Good for you. The problem? The signal doesn't reach down here. So he and his new girlfriend have been sitting in our hall and going outside at all hours of the night just to use internet. Seriously. I just can't believe that's why he's been in and out and oddly sitting in our hallway. The internet won't reach. My god.

So I've yet to meet this individual, but I know for a fact they have a lot of bikes. At least 5. I've been looking out the peephole on my door (creeper I know) and every time I hear someone out there, they're bringing a bike into the apartment. It had to have been bike #5 being brought in today. I don't think there's even been a bed brought in yet! To be fair, he could be riding these bikes as his mode of transportation. However, considering we've yet to have any snow melt away, and people here being really ignorant drivers, I'd be nervous to ride my bike on the road. I I also heard this neighbor yelling about black mold in his washroom and how the ceramic tile was too cold. I don't even remember someone coming to check out this room within the last month or so. It easily could have been during the day when I work. But how do you not notice black mold? That's kind of a big deal. I'm not sure anyone's currently in the apartment, since I haven't heard noise coming from it since 7. So they could still be living elsewhere for a couple more days.
