what if it was like the wolf among us..........

                                 he’s without his bravado,    without his usual poise,   and without his  élégant  grace.    yuuga feels bare;    uncertainty like sticky rice stuck to the back of his throat as he wrings the hem of his shirt just where his belt has claimed its near permanent spot around his torso.    there’s sweat building around his hairline,   but yuuga refuses to even think about his hair being affected in his condition.    if he does,   it might mess more with his already crumbling self-confidence.    he knows heroes aren’t supposed to be   -   like what he is.    they’re fearless,  strong.   most of all,   they almost always seem like they’ve got their quirks figured out.    yuuga wants to be like that.    but having determination is one thing;     facing reality with his classmates improving again and again just when he thought he’d caught up is   ...    yuuga gulps as if the air’s thinning,   and he feels his mouth moves.

                ❝    can i   ...     can i be better ?   i   -   i mean.    can i    ...     ❞      he looks then,   at his belt   -    as if it’s said enough.    it probably hadn’t,   but yuuga hadn’t known how else to continue.

It had been bothering All Might since he’d begun work at this school and gotten to spend more time around the elusive Eraserhead. He couldn’t not notice, and it did not take long for the No.1 hero to spring into action.

Cautiously, a bento box was slid onto the very edge of Aizawa’s desk as the younger was grading. All Might waited a second for it to be acknowledged, before clearing his throat and pushing the food more insistently before the other’s eyes.
