Pirate: Neffie is the captain of her own pirate crew, though she recently got caught and is doing her time in the Maelstrom until she can find her ship and crew again. 

Neerdowell: Neffie is a scoundrel, ruffian, and frequently has run ins with the law. She very much follows that Pirates of the Carribean mindset. “Laws? They’re more like guidelines than actual rules!”

Broken: Neffie is just kind of coasting along in life, doing whatever she feels like in order to try to smother the pain deep within her. She was born just before the fall of Ala Mhigo, and her mother was an early casualty of the Garleans. She lived with her father and the rest of her roaming clan, until she was 7, when they tried to sneak back in. She was taken by the Garleans as punishment to her clan, and put into a camp to try to brainwash her against her people. She was resistant to it, and escaped with a few other kids, living on their own in the wilderness before getting caught again at 13 and thrown on a transport ship. The captives rebelled and took the ship, which is how her life at sea started.
