Many people do not know the true purpose for a Fashion Stylist. They think they're strictly for the entertainment business or fashion industry when in fact they are for everyone. No matter what level you are on in fashion everyone needs a little guidance here and there. Below I hope to inspire you as well as open your mind to the idea of hiring a Fashion Stylist. Why Fashion Stylists Are Needed: 1. We have the skills, mindset, and professional set of eyes needed to create looks for you that you have never thought to create for yourself. We offer a new perspective to fashion which is key to making sure you feel like a new person. 2. We teach you new techniques that will last a life time. Although we don't always flat out say we're teaching you something, if you pay close attention in a styling session you could learn a few things. Picking up at least one technique can have a dramatic impact on you improving your style, as well as allowing you to be open minded, cautious, and versatile when shopping. Hint: it will save you money in the future! 3. No matter what you will come out on top. Whether you just need a stylist for a particular event or you need a couple of sessions to get you back on track in the fashion world, you will always win. I have never seen a fashion stylist do poor work (okay I take that back!). Most stylist do an excellent job styling their clients and depending on your personal preference and who you choose to style you will give you an advantage at your event/destination. 4. You do not have to do anything. You do not have to do anything except maybe fill out paper work, answer some questions, and talk about yourself (how hard is that?). We will do all the hard work for you. We will take on the shopping, running around town looking for the perfect clothing, and matching pieces. Then to top it off we will lay out our final decisions and the worst thing you will have to do is try them on. (Please note that you are welcome to run around town with us, well at least my clients are!). 5. You have a friend. This would more so be directed to clients who use a stylist regularly. Eventually after spending numerous hours together primping and agreeing to disagree, you and your stylist should have had time to develop some sort of personal relationship (I hope!). This could be great for you. Not only will you have an awesome stylist who gets you right every single time, but you will also have a new friend to add to Facebook and possibly your contact list! Friends are awesome (sometimes!). 6. You have bragging rights. You can now tell your friends, strangers, and family that you have a stylist. You can now say things like "eh, I don't know what I'll wear to the party I'll have my stylist put something together for me." How cool is that? No one will admit it but that's pretty boss (trust me I've heard someone say it about me and I was like that is dope!!). 7. It's a great way to restore confidence. As I've mentioned before in my video we live in a society that tears down our confidence (Check out the video on Facebook page: Styledbybreyana!!! It’s totally worth watching). We see gorgeous women on social media, our favorite TV shows, and in magazines with hour glass figures, long hair, make up, and nice clothes. We feel like we have to meet that standard everyday and that is not true. Some of us do not have the funds to buy clothes frequently. However, a great stylist can help you with that dilemma. We can help you budget so that you are still meeting your financial obligations and still have some left over for yourself. If you don't want to do that we can help you make due with your own closet. I've mentioned this before and I will mention it again the clothes in your closet are not dead and they have use (unless they are too big or too small, in that case they gotta go in my Raven Symone voice). Confidence takes time to rebuild but one of the keys to rebuilding it starts with your personal style because that's one of the things that makes you feel comfortable and happy with yourself. A stylist is a great tool to use when working towards rebuilding your confidence. 8. We can be permanent or temporary regardless we are a benefit to you. Whether you decide you only need a stylist for one or two events or for a lifetime you are the one reaping the benefits. If you only need one for a temporary basis the benefit is you won't have to stress out about what you're going to wear, how you are going to find a certain item or piece, etc. All you have to do is breathe and we will handle the stressful part for you. All you need to do is receive, prepare to look fabulous, and do your hair & makeup. If you are going for a long term stylist then you will never have to worry about fashion again a day in your life. You will have a platinum package right in front of you. You will have a friend, a teacher, and a stylist all in one. You will constantly be learning from your stylist and who knows if he or she can't style you for an event you have enough knowledge to take on the challenge yourself (or you could just cheat and recreate the look he or she has done for you in the past). 9. Your look will be different from everyone else's. No one likes to be caught wearing the same thing (unless you purposely want to be twinning!). Somehow you just know when a person is a stylist or has been styled by a stylist because they stand out. You almost can't take your eyes off of them but you have to because it's creepy to be staring at a stranger. Although it may not be the flashiest outfit or the most expensive looking outfit something sets them apart from everyone else. Wouldn't you like that to be you?
