Necrosis is also really fun! Imagine Cleo living with all that guilt about having to kill these people while thralled and then they meet Owen who completly out of his own free will decided to massacre a whole ass town. The angst! The anger! The resentment! Oh this is so good!
They either learn from eachother, Cleo learning that your actions don't have to define you as a person, at least not if you make an effort to change and Owen that violence, even justified or seemingly unavoidable one, does still take toll on everyone involved and therefore isn't really a good solution. Or they just make eachother worse. Owen convinces himself that he never had any choice and they made him massacre the town and applies this logic to everything going forward and Cleo takes a page out of Owens book and decides that vengence on everyone and everything would fix them.
Plus Cleos no nonsens atitude and Owen the drama queen would be really funny.
