Had to go in late to do a necropsy last night and it’s so spooky in the lab at night. I kept thinking I was hearing doors open and people talking but I know I was there alone. I ended up calling my sister to keep me company while I worked!

If I am a part of the department that euthanizes animals I should have access to the controlled drug box! It should not be an issue that whenever our lead tech isn’t here no one can get into the controlled substances.

If you want the heart cut in half so that both halves have right and left ventricles with septum present, we need to cut on the coronal plane. Not the sagittal plane. 🤦🏻‍♀️ please look things up before just using words willy nilly. They mean specific things.

Listening to music while I work and Sabrina Carpenter’s Manchild comes on and the line “half your brain just ain’t there” plays at the same time I’m cutting a rat brain in half. The universe is a little funny sometimes.
