Ndinda Kioko is a current grantee of the Miles Morland Prize for Writing. She's a writer and filmmmaker whose stories have been published in Fresh Paint - Literary Vignettes by Kenyan Women, and Amka Space for Women’s Creativity and other publications including Sanaa literary magazine. A new story is forthcoming in Jalada Africa, an African writers’ collective. Her short story Sometime Before Maulidi was published in Africa 39: New Writings from Africa South of the Sahara.
