Any good gift ideas for abortion providers' Day of Appreciation?

Any good gift ideas for abortion providers' Day of Appreciation?
We are certainly living in bizarre times when Republican front-runner Donald Trump argues from the podium that Planned Parenthood has done a lot of good for women, while Planned Parenthood president Cecile Richards tweets a reminder that Thursday is theNational Day of Appreciation for Abortion Providers. (We donât think itâs an official federal holiday yet.)
Richardsâ tweet seems to suggest a simple âthank youâ is more than enough, but if sheâd reminded us earlier, we could have compiled a list of tasteful, engraved gifts that wouldreally add that special touch to crushing that fetus above and below its more desiredorgans. The organization might have to settle for a half-billion in taxpayer funding as a thank you gift instead.
In any case, do something to send Americaâs abortion providers your love. And not just love, but provider love. And as always, spread love, not hate.
After participating in seven Democratic debates, both Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders were finally asked about abortion during a recent town hall hosted by Bret Baier on Fox News. Both reiterated their strong conviction that abortion is a womanâs choice, with Clinton asking what sort of Constitutional right abortion is if there are any restrictions placed on the procedure.
So, under these hostile conditions, donât forget to say thanks to all of the nationâs abortion providers tomorrow, and maybe even send a card. Word is Kermit Gosnell, whose Philadelphia abortion clinic was barely limited or constrained at all in its provision of womenâs health services would be thankful for a cake with a file in it.

Today, March 10, letâs show abortion providers love and support â letâs thank them for their hard work and commitment to individual autonomy. Abortion providers are a key part of ensuring that those of us who seek abortion care are able to receive it, so that we all can make the best decisions for ourselves and our current or future families. #NDAAP #CelebrateAbortionProviders #FundAbortionSupportProviders #AppreciateProviders #ProviderLove
March 10th is National Day of Appreciation for Abortion Providers. Despite the fact that abortion is a Constitutionally legal healthcare service, these medical professionals face death threats, protestors outside their workplace, and policymakers referring to their LEGAL work as âmurder.
How do they do it? We asked them to explain it, in their own words.
âDear Providerâ

March 10 is the National Day of Appreciation for Abortion Providers, observed every year on the anniversary of the day in 1993 when David Gunn, MD, was murdered by an anti-choice extremist. #AppreciateProviders, #NDAAP
Description:
A start black background with decorative handwritten style white text. In the center bottom there is a black and white line drawing of a wavy haired woman holding up a ultra-sound photo of a fetus, the womanâs nails are painted red. In the upper right there is a drawing in the same style of the same woman holding a 1 year old infant child in her arms and smiling up at him. The child is wearing a red bandana. The handwritten text that surrounds these illustrations says:
Dear Abortion Provider,
I didn't feel guilty when I got my abortion in 2003. I was on drugs, had a drug addicted boyfriend and most importantly, I knew I wasn't ready to be a mom.
But, I worried that down the road... When I had a child... It would all come out... And I would be devastated by what I had done.
Then⌠my son was born in 2014. As I held him and looked at his perfect little fingers and toes I waited for the repressed shame to wash over me.... Instead, I was overwhelmed with gratitude for the abortion I had 11 years earlier.
And I realized that⌠it was only through choosing to not be a parent then, that I got to be a great mom now!Â
Thank you for being there when I needed you in 2003.
That friday in January when you showed up for work, it was just another day for you. You didnât know that over a decade later your work would help a woman you donât remember have the life and family sheâd always dreamed of. There are two loving parents with a little boy who is happy, safe, and wanted⌠because of you. Thank you.
