I feel like we should improve disability care infrastructure and safety nets before we condemn people who choose an abortion over raising a child with a detectable disability within the society we have currently.

So a talking point pro lifers often use is how a child is always a gift, never a burden, so you shouldn’t kill one (aka have an abortion). However, almost anything can be a fucking burden if it is forced on you. New clothes? What if they’re itchy, uncomfortable, or trigger gender dysphoria? Food? What if you’re allergic to it? Video game/show/movie/book? What if it triggers you? Haircut? What if it makes you feel really bad about yourself? Child? What if it wrecks your body and future?
