─- send me a ship and i’ll tell you who…
001. kills the spider: usually, either of them. maria hates killing the bigger ones, though, just because of how it feels and the noise it makes, so she usually gets frank to kill those ones.
002. proposed: it was sort of a mutual agreement. frank was only a few days away from deployment when they found out she was pregnant. frank was like, “i’m gonna marry you and take care of you and that baby” and maria was like “damn right you will. and you better come back safe, frank castle.” and they had a hastily thrown together wedding two days later, and that was that.
003. kissed the other first: maria. frank was always a bit old-fashioned and chivalrous before the war, and his mother taught him to always, always respect women. after their second date, frank hesitated at the doorway, and maria was waiting for him to kiss her but he didn’t; he was about to walk away, so she just grabbed him by the coat and pulled him down and kissed him.
004. initiates things: either of them! usually maria, though, because frank has this weird insecurity sometimes and feels like he’s imposing.
005. would leave the other: maria, i guess? frank is gone a lot, of course, and i could see how that would be hard on her, especially if his behavior changes when he’s home in leave or in between enlistments.
006. is more jealous: frank. typical jealous husband, honestly. he’s not obnoxious about it, but if he sees another man flirting with maria, he gets pissed.
007. is lazier: they both put a lot of effort into everything, i think? i guess when frank is on leave or between enlistments, he’s a little less active, just because he’s so fucking exhausted.
008. sends weird texts at 3 AM: maria. she knows it makes frank smile.
009. is more experienced: maria. frank had only been with maybe one or two people before he met her, and i headcanon that she’s a year or two older than him.
010. said i love you first: frank, probably mid-sex. then repeated it a good ten times afterward so maria would believe that it wasn’t just a heat-of-the-moment thing.
